Do not a day trip to cape tribulation! You will not have enough time to explore the great look out points, rainforest night tour and sea kayaking to snapper island. I would recommend to stay for at least for 2 night in the cape tribulation area. I prefer Crododylus in Cow Bay: cheap, located in the jungle, no party place, good food, a lot of things to do.!
