You should really do this when visiting the Blue Mountains. With the train from Sydney, very doable in one day. The steepest train ride in the world. A super experience!

The Blue Mountains are very popular for hiking. You find day tracks, lookout points (Echo Point) and several elevators / sky trains here. By train or bus it will take 1,5 hours to arrive at Katoomba (or Leura). Share you day tour and Blue Mountain hiking experiences now with other outdoor tourists! Take some water and food with you.
