I was fed up with the fact we did not visit the Louvre. We did not have enough time to visit it. From what we could see from the outside was amazing. Especially the glass pyramid.

We took a walk to the Louvre. The touristshops near the river La Fleufe made the walk a bit easier and longer. We saw a lot of nice things.

Ok, if you like art, this is the place to be! You can spend weeks in this museum! I especially liked the Winged Victory of Samothrace! But La Gioconda (Mona Lisa) didn't really excite me! It's so small!! And the Venus de Milo is just ugly.. ;) in my humble opinion! The outside of the Louvre is marvellous! The glass pyramids and fountains create a nice atmosphere!

The Famous Louvre Museums is house to many great artworks. The most famous pieces of them all being the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Although this painting didn't impress me that much, there is so much other art to be seen, that I had a fine time anyway. The pieces of Venus of Milo and the statue of the Nike goddess were my favorite.

Oke, it's an impressive building. But why spend your money here? It's way too big to see it all. And what about the Mona Lisa, thousands of people walking around to see a square of 30x30 cm? The painting opposite of it is much more impressive.
