The Giant Buddah The Giant Buddah - 20 Sep 08
The Big buddah (Tian Tan) is my favourite sight in Hong Kong. This 22 high temple is located on a quiet part of Lantau island. The Giant temple is impressive and will give you a good feeling, you have to climb to the top. Close to the Big buddah you will find wisdom path and the Po lin monastery. Lantau island is an excellent day trip for backpackers and all other travellers to Hong Kong! Do not forget your camera!
