Bromo volcano - 15 Aug 08
The Brome Volcano is one of the volcanoes you can visit on Java. Some of the expeditions combine the climb with the beautiful sunset on mount Penanjukan (2770 meters). The view shows other volcanoes. You can climb the Bromo your selfs. A jeep will bring you up to 100 meters of the foot of the volcano. The final climb ( 300 stairs ) will bring you to the edge of the smoking bromo volcano. Ones your their you have the opportunity to watch into the volcano. Take a handkerchief with you to protect yourself against the sulfur damps.
