We came at the Ramblas when we were looking some souvenirs. Here are the only nice markets. Nice little souvenirmarkets.

If you are in Barcelona you have to go to the Ramblas. You will find kiosks, salesmen, stands and artists. The living statues are the most fun to see. The terraces are expensive and watch out for pickpockets.

Must see this once. Very touristic but worth to visit. Make sure to see the living statues, true work of art. The little roads behind La Rambla could be from a Harry Potter movie. Dark and very weird buildings.

Not much time - 12 Sep 08
Three of us paid 21 euros each for an open top bus to take us around the attractions. We only had time to stop at a couple of places. We went to the Gaudy gardens. Unfortunately we missed the last bus so we had to get a taxi back into the centre. My advice would be, if you have limited time to decide on which attraction you would like to visit and get a cab, the taxi back cost us 9 euros. We could have used the money to get entrance into the temples. Watch out for the unfriendly taxi drivers.

I would like to advice all Barcelona Tourists to avoid the Ramblas. Okay it it nice to walk here for 45 minutes max, but the Ramblas boulevard is to expensive. Go to the districts around the city center and meet locals and cheap tapas bars there! PS. Around the Ramblas you can find some low budget hotels, but sorry I forgot the names...
