The view from The Eye is FANTASTIC! You can see almost everything of Londen. The Thames and the Tower Bridge look realy amazing. A ride takes less than half an hour.

London Eye - 11 Jan 08We have been twice on the Eye, once for free and last year. Both times we got stunning photos of London, great views. It gives an overall impression of where things are in relation to each other. To those who say its expensive; You have to pay to go in St Pauls too don't you?

Worth It - 10 Dec 07We have been twice on the London Eye now. It really gives you a good overview of London, especiallyif you have the set of cards they sell when you get your ticket. We have some really fabulous photographs of the Thames, Westminster and other landmarks taken from the Eye. It may seem expensive to some, but believe me it is well worth the money.

The London Eye.. I loved it! As you get higher and higher you keep seeing more of London! Walking around in the egg shaped thing, taking pictures! If you want you can sit in the middle instead of standing and walking around.. Might be useful for people with a weak stomach!

Climb St. Pauls instead - 09 Jan 08I lived in London for 5 months on a study abroad - I am not trying to say that the eye isn't great, but it is expensive and you can wait in line FOREVER when you could be out enjoying an amazing city. Instead, you can go to St. Paul's cathedral, which is gorgeous and has tons of history. You can check out the whispering walls and then see a beautiful view over the city - I uploaded a photo from the day I did it, but the weather was no so great :(
