Making a trip through Asia or India? Then Delhi will probably lay on your travel route. This gigantic capital city of India has been an important mark in India for centuries. Today you will find modern skyscrapers and large shopping malls in New Delhi. (founded by the English). But you will also find the monkeys, cows and dogs strolling down the streets. The old parts of the city are very busy and chaotic and temples and old Moghul buildings fill the streets. Famous buildings are the Lal Qila or Red Fort and the impressive Qutab Minar minaret.
